A walk-in-interview will be held for appointment of will be held for appointment of Project Assistant under the Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India funded projects for 3 years. The engagement will be basis for the project period only. The details of the posts are as follows: 

1. Project Assistant
No of posts: 1

Name of project: Genetic enhancement of Castor (Ricinus communis L.) germplasm as a source material for development of productive perennial varieties (PIB05005S1).
Educational Qualification:  Graduate in Science. Candidates having a thorough knowledge of basics of breeding and genetics will be preferred.

Pay: The consolidated stipend amounting Rs.12000.00 per month.

2. Project Assistant
No of posts: 1

Name of project: Breeding of muga silkworms for improved silk quality and disease tolerance (AIB05006S1).
Educational Qualification:  Graduate in Science. Candidates having a thorough knowledge of basics of breeding and genetics will be preferred.

Pay: The consolidated stipend amounting Rs.12000.00 per month.
