Assam Police has released an employment notification for the recruitment to the 35 Platoon Commander posts under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Govt. of Assam.

Name of post: Platoon Commander
No of posts: 35 + 5 [Male: 29, Female: 11]

Pay: Rs. 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2) plus Grade Pay Rs. 8700
Age: Candidate should not be more than 38 years and less than 18 years of age as on 1st January 2020 (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2002 and on or after 01-01-1982).

Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by:-
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (H) and ST (P).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.

Essential Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.

Application Fee: There will be no application fee.

How to apply: Applications must be submitted online through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in). Only online applications will be received with effect from 23-03-2020 and the last date of receiving applications will be ~~11-04-2020~~ ~~15-06-2020~~.

The candidates who did not apply earlier in pursuance to advertisement dated 19-03-2020 due to non completion of graduation (minimum Educational Qualification) at the time of advertisement or other reasons, can submit online application w.e.f. 17-08-2020 to 26-08-2020 through SLPRB website www.slprbassam.in.
However, the candidates who applied earlier in pursuance to advertisement issued on 19-03-2020 need not to apply again.
